Note: This is the official release to Newgrounds of the Game stolen a few days ago by someone pretending to be me :( , if you've already played it, please vote how you liked it, though you should now play it with it's proper aspect ratio, it's much better :D

The idea behind this game was to push how large of a single Movieclip I could make each level, and in the process pay tribute to my absolute favourite game on the PS2, Shadow of the Colossus, which hopefully will be seeing an HD re-release on PS3 soon!

Play as a mysterious Pale Man of the North in a quest to rid the Kingdom of a most unusual plague, and in the process win the throne to the empire!

I hope you enjoy this little cinematic style game, I've really tried to squeeze the atmosphere in. Featuring music from Duncan Fenn of The Red Swan Hotel, which you should defintely check out in the link to the side and the as usual brilliant http://www.Incompetch.com

How about...

Instead of killing the monster you get to be the heir, you instead get a wish so you can bring your dead girlfriend back to life. But it's a race because you have a ancient shaman hit squad after you and you have to fight them off as one of the golems in the end. Oh, wait, that's already a game. Maybe you should try to be more original than this and become imaginative. Running to the top of the giant to reach the sparkling light on his head was too recycled. Paying tribute to Shadow of the Colossus and making a shitty knock-off are two different things. Also, not impressed by overall gameplay or graphical design.

Only vaguely like Shadow of the Colossus

The concept is fine enough, but the execution isn't that great; the game boils down to boring jump after boring jump. The main character looks like you forgot to finish him as well.

Ambitious try, but overall didn't succeed.

Nice concept, a little rough on execution,

So, I'm not sure why I have to tell you this, but the point of a platformer is to test your skill. Having controls that respond correctly is vital to doing so. A great example of a game which accomplishes this admitably is "N." Very tight controls.
In this game, however, the controls are sloppy and useless - often times, especially when you are supposed to wait until the exact right moment to jump, you simply WOULDN'T jump, or your jump would be delayed half a second.
The concept was great, but the bad execution has essentially rendered it useless.
