I wanted to build something confrontational, that would engage players to give thought to what they are doing both in and out of game.

The result is 'Loved' - a short story in the form of a flash platformer.

Updates
1. It should be much easier to perform precise drops now
2. Resurrecting inside walls should no longer be possible
3. Slope-related glitching should no longer occur
4. Added a small secret

Great point!

PLOT SPOILER

------------------

Hey! I loved it! It's awesome... Multiple endings really worked out.... the escape was a bit predictable, however the "remaining to stay" ending (by obeying all the commands in the game) was really touching; especially the end: You are a WOMAN, not a boy (or girl) anymore. And what is your reward? What is the reward for staying in such an abusive relationship? Meaningless penny. Or, simply said: NOTHING.

Great message. I love these allegory games, especially with multiple endings (based on your choices), like Air Pressure or the story of an pacifist; this one is excellent :))

The only, only only little flaw (that keeps it from getting 10) - the game was awfully hard for me the first time I played it. I know, it is supposed to be hard, but IMO the controls are too sensitive (that is, too sensitive for left-right, and not sensitive enough for jumping). But that's perhaps just my personal preference.

Hope you make more games like this one! :)

errrrrmmmmmm.

decent platformer. but the message was kinda like "whatever"
was this an attempt at being artsy or creative?
i hope to see more games from you, preferrably platformers without an awkward pretentious narrative.

I enjoyed,

This game sooo much.
submissions have really disappointed me lately.
this did not. it surpassed my expectations by far.
message was great,
but it got really difficult if you didn't do what the "Person?" said
tried again and beat it easily.
Amazing.
good job there.
