Hey make sure you're LOGGED IN for this one. The medals unlock new levels and new modes.

This is a platformer with 30 stages where you have to manuevre your way out of booby-trapped underground caves. The main trap is that sand's flooding in, but it'll introduce other stuff along the way.

UP TO JUMP.
HOLD DOWN WHILE IN THE AIR TO SPIN DOWN.
RESTART A LEVEL WITH THE SPACEBAR OR R.

I made most of this game like a year ago, when it was just blue-gray blocks jumpin around. I couldn't work out a good aesthetic where the floor was rising but DOESN'T affect the environment. It was only recently when I was thinkin about something completely different an I thought OH YEAH, DUHR, SAND. SAND IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS GAME NEEDS TO BE ABOUT. Then I came back n finished it, made the guy a desert babe.

One o the early ideas I had was that it was a small girl trapped down a well, and the game was called "Let's Get Outta Here". Another idea was that you were on a sinking ship and water was flooding in.
I got the MAIN idea from a level in Jak and Daxter 1 where you're in this silo and this black poison business is rising up, but there's LOADS of games that do a similar idea. I took most of the code from Mighty Tower, a game I made last year which was mostly based on Meat Boy.

Thanks to Newgrounds fo sponsoring, and everyone else who wanted to sponsor.
Also "Pimp of Persia" is like the best named track on the site.

Well,

Game concept is nice, but the music annoys after one minute and controls really suck. Hope you'll make an improved version because the idea is fine.

Not impossible

But i do have a few gripes.

Your single biggest enemy in this game is your own speed. it can make gauging jumps difficult at times and more often than you want youll find yourself sliding past your mark and causing you to fail. This same issue can make wall jumps a MASSIVE pain in the ass at times.

Also in Lava mode on the 3rd level or so when you introduced the passages that have "doors" or so to speak where you pass from one spot to another.

When jumping through the last one to get to the door i always wind up straight into the lava. Now im fairly certain this isnt an issue of me being slow as ive run the course repeatedly and feel ive come about as close to a perfect run as i can up to that point. I cant slide down the wall because of the "door" or passage whatever it is catches me before i go through and I cant get far enough over once I pass through to grab the right wall and when I simply try to go left to jump back up to the door i appear to (based on the sprite when I die) be halfway through the floor as if its not actually there at all.

Hard!

I am stuck on level 5!
About time a game challanged me.
But i have one Major complaint

How come the game does not respond to holding the up button? It would make this control system 20x easier.

Horrible

Controls are messed up, for example I can't climb a mile high wall, and you're only given like 5 seconds or else you're screwed. And the girl moves wayy too fast, you can't even control her. -1/10
