good game

Here's my take:

1) Regarding the aiming system, I'm perfectly cool with it. You have to use the WASD keys to align with your enemies, otherwise you are shooting from a side angle, which will screw up your aiming.
And you'll notice that when the enemies are close you can aim the reticule directly at their heads, while when they're further off you have to aim above their heads. That's because a bow is handled very differently than a gun. When firing a bow at a distant target, you do fire it in an upward arc, actually aiming higher than your target, and I think that's what the designer was trying to simulate.
Also in regards to firing from side angles, just from firing around and seeing where the arrows landed, I get the sense that he was trying to simulate the path of an arrow fired sideways. Regardless, I found the aiming system easy to get a hang of and was getting headshots almost every time. So I actually liked the aiming. If it would have been too easy, like shooting a gun, it would have really cheapened the game, in my opinion.

2). It is too short, but the way the game is designed it anyways would have been pretty much maxed out somewhere between level 15-20, If you make a sequel, maybe you can redo the upgrading system to last for 40-50 levels. This would include new weapons, items, spells, enemies, bosses, turrets, repairmen, gunmen, allow training in additional skills such as speed, accuracy etc.

BTW, the accuracy bonus was a joke. If you need 2000 exp. what's the difference between 20 and 90, wouldn't it make sense to have a multiplier as the levels advance , so accuracy would actually make a difference in leveling?

I really enjoyed this game, hope you make a sequel!

Second Playthrough

Great game but I really think that you should have added a second playthrough with harder enemies and more upgrades. If you do make a sequel, please keep this in mind!!!
