Not A Game About Zombies

Quite a simple game. WASD To move, Click to shoot, Cursor to aim. Don't let the zombies touch you. Click the grey rectangle to start.

The real fun comes in with the game mode editor (that whitish rectangle with the green outline). That lets you customize your game, from how fast you move, how fast you can fire, how many zombies spawn etc. It's quite simple to work, it just takes numbers separated by semicolons, I define decimals with .0 on the end, but you don't have to.

The uses for each slot are (in order):

The Speed of the player (in pixels per second)
The time between each zombie spawning (in milliseconds)
The time between each shot being fired (in milliseconds)
The number of bullets being fired (like a shotgun effect)
The variation in the path of the bullet (higher is less accurate)
The base speed of bullets (in pixels per second)
The maximum speed of bullets (in pixels per second)
Whether bullets go through multiple zombies (0 or 1, 1 being true)
How long a bullet lasts on stage (in tenths of a second)
The base speed of the zombies (in pixels per second)
The max speed of the zombies (in pixels per second)
Whether to use WASD or ,AOE (for dvorak keyboard users like me, 0 being WASD)

Here are some sample game modes to try (just copy paste over the current one):
Normal:
150.0;150;50;1;2.0;300.0;
150.0;0;50.0;100.0;50.0;0
Hard:
120.0;100;55;1;3.0;300.0;
150.0;0;50.0;120.0;100.0;

Normal Shotgun:
150.0;150;600;8;25.0;300.
0;150.0;0;60.0;100.0;50.0 ;0
Hard Shotgun:
120.0;100;800;8;30.0;300.
0;150.0;0;60.0;120.0;100.

Ninja Zombies:
100.0;500;50;6;25.0;400.0 ;0.0;0;15.0;800.0;0.0;0
Pulse Mode: (WILL LAG LIKE HELL)
150.0;1;500;300;360.0;450 .0;0.0;0;150.0;200.0;100.

EDIT: NG does something weird to the gamemodes, they need to be on one line, not split up.
(The above is in the game, just use your scroll wheel on the floating text to find it all)

Thanks for playing!

i acidently made a mode where you shoot randomly nomather where you aim so its hard to hit just one but it got deleted becose i had to login to write this so.....

CANT

FUCKING MOVE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So good i cant find out what to write here

This is a really good game, ecpically the fact to custimize everything thats availible here, and the fact that this is your first game really makes me amazed! Im hoping your making another game like this one, maybe to choose how everything looks like, prehaps a editor to add objects, anyway this game is a good one! ill mention this in other places!

Also im working on 2 modes that i thought were good,
1. Zombie amount: countryside, Speed: good health, weapon: pistol, code:

200.5;400;600;1;1.1;600.5;800.8;0;150 .5;100.0;50.0;0
_____________________________________
_____________________________________
2.Zombie Amount: 5 miles from metropolis, Health: foot swollen from pebbles, Weapon: AK47, code:

120.5;150;60;1;10.5;500.0;520.5;5;50.
0;100.0;50.0 ;0

Thank you

this is the ultimate time waster for me!

I created a sword mode, a machine gun mode and a luck mode (Zombies are so fast you can't see them and you have a shield of bullets that only protect you from the front)

Although there is a problem though, you can go outside the box. Try to fix that

HiddenSpartan responds:

Thanks for the input.
I didn't bother making the screens loop because, in most modes, it's not beneficial to go off the screen. Zombies spawn out there, alot of the time, you get killed trying to walk offscreen. It doesn't make sense to go offscreen, and I'd prefer to not spend extra processes on making the universe torus shaped (making the sides loop).

Sniper mode

a little mode i made up, anyways. Awesome game! i had lots of fun playing it.
