Do I make you groovy baby? DO I?
Humor you have to think about.
The animation and drawing style reminds me a lot of The Life and Times of Tim(a fucking hilarious show IMO). People don't seem to get the surrealist humor that this cartoon is putting out though, I mean to me this flash seems like a satire of all the shitty sitcoms and animated shows on TV. And the humor is reminiscent of the type of material that Tim and Eric usually produce and everyone knows that they are geniuses. RIP Richard Dunn!
I'm sorry for the 5, but here is what I think...
1. It wasn't funny. The jokes were mainly copied from other things and used repeatedly. Some parts were cute, but that's about as humorous as it got.
2. It wasn't particularly well animated. Not bad, but not that good.
So, nice effort, and the basic idea was original, but I didn't see anything that captured my interest or will cause me to look at more of your work. Keep it up, you're not far off.
omg what di d i jsut watch?????????????
I love you man!
Ingenious. This is one your best.
Sir, while I watch videos on this site, I never review them. I feel as though this video deserves my review.
Most of the previous criticisms I have read about this have been incorrect, expect for one, that being that it doesn't belong here. Why? Because you know what style works for the end goal in your animation, and it does, but you have targeted the wrong audience. People here, as another commenter noted, simply cannot appreciate this.
I appreciate your choppy style and feel that it properly informs the content of the video. I enjoy that you took such a risk on a site like this with content that, well, I am sure you are familiar with.
I also personally enjoyed the cheesy laughing in the background. Keep it coming, sir, but expand your audience. There are many who would appreciate this much more than the typical Newgrounds fanbase.
