Age of War 2 is a mix between a defense game and a strategy game. The goal is to destroy the enemy base while defending yours. You can build turrets to defend your base and units to attack the enemy's.

The twist of the game is that you can evolve as well as unlock new units and defense means. The more you evolve, the more you will become powerful.

Nice eye candy, needs to put the S in RTS though

Strategy if Age of war 2: try to keep your priests behind your melee, and for some dumb reason they can't let the melees overtake them, if there's something attacking your base then use some magic powers.

That's pretty much it. Also, you can win fairly early without any sort of serious upgrading. There's nothing apart from the standard game, no multiplayer or anything, and you upgrade from greek (~600BC) to egyptian (3000BC), going backwards in time by 1000 years.

I'm sure someone will think "omg eyecandy" and rate this "useless", but there's a reason for animations sans interactions.

Boring

Too much like the first game, same strategy. Of course, the gameplay had some upgrades and it was graphically better, but the game itself wasnt really better.

Bulls***

If I play on medium difficulty, MEDIUM, the comp uses a spell attack immediately everytime, while mine costs 2k xp AND apparently is on some timer. I can't tell, because I don't make it far enough. Sorry, looks like it would be cool. I'm going to try it on easy now, but I shouldn't have to.
