Age of War 2 is a mix between a defense game and a strategy game. The goal is to destroy the enemy base while defending yours. You can build turrets to defend your base and units to attack the enemy's.

The twist of the game is that you can evolve as well as unlock new units and defense means. The more you evolve, the more you will become powerful.

Good

it is somewhat good, but once you have the correct strategy, everything becomes too easy. i question the use of turrets. they practically make it impossible to reach the base until you use god's wrath. however, i like how you made weaknesses for each enemy, and upgrades.

going back to being easy, yes, the opponent DOES go in front of you in technology, but you can quickly catch up, and in hard mode, i already went up above the enemy, who was in the medeval age, and i killed the opponent simply by spamming cannons (due to the fact that the opponent's turrets were outdated). this becomes way too easy for most of us(except those who complain that the enemy can use specials)

overall, i guess this is pretty much okay, and a splendid improvement over the first series. keep it up.

The first was better

Didn't like how you stilyze these units, not the game is not like a war, but more like a friendly party...
Liked more strategic possibilities, still not enought for a steady gameplay..

Brilliant

A good game though if you know the secret of how to evolve easily then it is easily beaten. I think you should add celebrities of the era that you are in like Leonardo Da Vinci and Cleoparta etc.....But a good game nethertheless.

Awesome!!

Second of all this game has quite a sharp flaw in it, whereas everybody seems to SUCK at it all i had to do was put 1 melee infantry then 3 support guy behind him, rinse and repeat and before i knew it i was in the modern age while my enemy was at 1000 HP and was still in the medieval era. try my strategy people reading this and you'll see what i mean.

I hope number 3 is coming soon.

awesome!

I really enjoyed the first game. when i saw this game i couldn't wait to try it and it was just as awesome as i thought. I really liked the upgrades that you cloud buy to the diffrent units. It was much more tactical than the first.
About the computer getting much more exp and money than you... i love it. Many hate it, but i like it. It adds difficulty to the game, and for those of you who are having a hard time... i can say that i have completed the game on insane difficulty, its possible but hard yes.
Overall a very good game :D
