Here's a stop motion video i made for the Death Cab for Cutie song - Your Heart is an Empty Room. The whole thing took me about 3 months and contains over 5000 different pictures. I made it only using monkeyjam for the video and audacity for the audio. Major thanks to Fro who helped me get it into flash so i could show you guys. Sorry about the low quality. That size restriction thing is a huge annoyance. You can watch it on you tube in hd if its a problem - http://youtube.com/watch?

Hey, and here it is!

After a long day of swimming in the pool I have to admit that I forgot all about this submission. I'll get a hold of some of my friends to check it out so you can get some more views and everything.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

Surprisingly good quality for a video in flash at such a low size. I think we got the right amount quality/size figured out last night and it was a good thing because I only get internet outside on my porch and it was getting quite cold. :P

There were a few times here and there that you got your hand where you shouldn't have, but because of the other instances where you were using your hand on purpose it didn't look too bad. I thought that almost everything was done really good and when your hand was suppose to be in there it looked pretty cool. You usually don't see live body parts in a stop action video.

~ Story/Content ~

You did a great job of telling a story with the pictures and every second I was ready to see what was coming next. You did a very nice assortment of pictures and letters, but I personally wouldn't have minded seeing more of it done with pictures.

~ Audio ~

To me the audio seems to have been mixed great. If you ever want to do this again by yourself in the future then there should be a choice where you can put the audio in separate when you are importing it to the library. If you can't figure it out, I'll always be available.

I actually never heard the song before you showed me and even though it wasn't my style you really did it justice with this piece.

~ Overall ~

I admire the work and dedication that has to go into a project like this and on top of it you really did do a great job so I'll give it a 10 all around. Hopefully you find time in the future to do it again. Good luck with whatever life brings your way.

Awesome!

I'm a big fan of stop animations. Awesome job! I'll bet this was very tedious to make, but in the end I think you got the desired effect.

...

You just don't see enough of this kind of thing on newgrounds. It's all hardcore flashes never to soft music. I say if this doesn't make it make another one and I will vote 5/10 like I did for this one.
