This is one of my entries from the 2008 Tournament Of Flash Artists (TOFA), which I ended up winning. The theme for this animation was "Bob wanted an apple, so..."
I made the crappy music and my bro Donald made the good music.

Simply Fantastic
See, this is what I bookmarked Newgrounds for: so I could come and see animation that is truly inspired. This is the diamond in the rough I've been so patient for, and it definitely deserves the front page, moreso than most of the animation that manages to get there. The story was simple, but unique and great, and the art was beautiful; the attention to detail on the tree as the view panned upwards was gorgeous. I really dug the ending, too, as well as the sort of constant loop of events that was implied. Really good stuff.
It's rare for me to give a 10 on anything, and you've earned it. Congratulations.
