Agreed. Too linear gameplay..

Liked the idea with weather forecast ) It's really can make influence on the battlefield.
You can make some particular weather, when EMP won't work.. And effects that affect the battlefield, like lightning, but more common - slowing down, reducing range and so on. But don't overcomplicate. For example if you create a misty weather, reducing range, then all robots get's penalty except no more than 1 type, equipped with some sort of anti-fog lights or smthg..
Add some research labs to the game, and the research tree as well.

You can also make some special slot available in factories to add to existing bots. For example you can configure factory to spawn bots with anti-lightning system, or with a chip +30 dmg, and so on (depending on what technology player choosed to research and his choise for particular factory).

Awaiting for a sequel.

Pretty good

None too shabby. I like the road system and the different directions of different factories. When it comes to different levels where the exit route is in a particular direction it allows for quite interesting base building.

Overall the gameplay is rather easy. It's pretty basic and linear and it does allow for only one action - building and upgrading factories. There's not much else to be done. EMPs and Healths aren't really necessary to complete the game. But aside from that, there is no other interaction in the game and so the gameplay becomes bland after a while. Once one has built enough factories to keep the enemy at bay, it basically becomes a waiting game for the resources to come in and the beef up the units.

What it needs is a tad more interactivity in the battlefield. Maybe some 'hero' units that can be summoned at a particular price or a temporary shield powerup that recharges over time. Research facilities instead of all factory buildings. More diversity in the gameplay will take this a long way.

The gameplay moves along rather slowly too. Because the enemy also upgrades at a steady rate and upgrade costs are a little on the high side relative to amount of money earned, it takes a while before my army strength is enough to start damaging the enemy base. It's not difficult. It's just slow. It's all a matter of time. Never once was my base actually threatened by an enemy attack, but I had to wait for the cash to roll in slowly and then upgrade certain things slowly. Since a lot of waiting is involved, there needs to be a speed up button or something. Not necessarily speed up the entire game, but certainly a 2x or 3x speed button for those tedious waiting periods.

I'm comparing this to the likes of Colony and Sea of FIre because the style of play is pretty similar. Those two have a much larger interactivity when it comes to the actual battle. While this game does offer some fun, it doesn't sustain it well enough due to the slow and linear gameplay.

too easy

I beat everything at first try plus i basicly won at survival. The only thing that works against infinite health is an infinite stream of robots. Good graphics, nice retro style. Yeah, i like it.

-no-

Didn't like it. Weather was stuck on stormy, and lightnings were camping my bots really hard (s*°t, those thunder never hit even the smallest enemy!), i had no chanches. And it was only the tutorial! plus, it's unbelievably slow, and the opponent kept spamming EMPs, so in the end i was desperately (and uselessly) tring to survive to an incoming doom... but it could be good, so here's your five.
