Looks like she's having fun
If she's supposed to be frightened, try widening her eyes, dilating her pupils, and making her flail her arms around. The way she ran looked too much like a jog, and I got the impression she enjoys being chased by boulders.
Maybe she does.
And nothing's stopping the boulder from rolling off the cliff, yet it stops. There should be some reason, even if the boulder is alive and stopped itself. Not only that but she stops too. Without looking back, as if she expected the boulder to stop. She should at least turn around at the edge of the cliff to see that the boulder has stopped.
Not bad, but the gag needs a bit better delivery.
I totally agree with you. Dale did the artwork and storyboard, and I just did the animation. When I brought all this up with Dale, his response was, "Fuck it". We're busy with our deadlines and that animation was something that just needed to be over and done with. Thanks for your feedback!

i liked this except for helens facial expression while running from the boulder and the ending but still some decent work
