The story is great. The animations are good.
I just want to point out that the audio is not balanced - the voices are difficult to understand even at maximum volume, while sounds from firing guns are too loud.

Daily 4th Place: Thank you newgrounds. It managed to make it here despite its flaws. I plan to make a sequel and I will be starting on it in about 2 months. I have several other games planned and they need some attention before coming back to this. But it should not be a long wait before you guys have more Genesis.
Note: Some people are experiencing problems on apple computers. It seems once you get the handgun you cannot exit the screen. I have been trying very hard to resolve the matter, but I have not had much luck. If anyone is familiar with this and has a solution please let me know through pm or email me at mpvile@prodigy.net

Genesis Part I
Description:
Its been seven years since Damien has lost his wife at the hands of an unknown man wearing a gray hoody. While living every day racked with guilt he spends every second of his life completely devoted to Project Genesis. Its the only thing that he believes that will make his life worth living and give him the chance he needs to finally give something back to the world. He also believes that it may be the only thing that will help him move on with his life and stop living in grief.
Genesis was put together by altering existing virus's with the hope to increase certain peoples strength, speed and reaction time. Something that he believes if it had been around when his wife was taken from him that she could have been saved.
The virus has now entered its final stage of development and requires human testing. Of course feeling its his responsibility and only right, Damien reluctantly volunteers for the project. Little does he know that once the virus enters his veins it will change his life forever, and give him the chance to finally change everything. Whether if it is for the better or worse.
WASD or Arrows = Move
Mouse = Aim or Look
Space = Stop Time
Click the menu to pause or un-pause the game. While in the menu, you can equip items. During play, click them to use them.

its a very good game i like the story but of course i have an apple so just like you said at the point where you receive the handgun it wouldn't let me exit.
oh shit!
the game was good but can't you add more guns and unlimted ammo for the pistol cuz i need to take out the gards and i have no ammo.
My favorite game of yours yet.
Despite it's short length this is by far my favorite game of yours. Stopping time was an awesome ability, but it would be even more awesome if you could rotate bullets so that you could make people shoot themselves. The lack of a health meter was fairly annoying but I got passed it due to stopping time being very useful. An open world version would be even more awesome.

Thanks for the review. I have a lot of ideas for a sequel and open world is one of them. I also plan for a upgraded game engine. Where you can grab characters move and rotate them. I also like the idea of rotating bullets, and I may look into that.
