simple yet amazing
ah I remember fami com from this type of game concept. usually yes its light color then mid tones. fami com style of graphics. and pixelated of course. it was a fun game. yet kinda time wasting in a repeated action sort of way.
Some of your characters are very interesting and thats good. keep up the good work . 2d games are very fun to play, just so happens it needs a good story if its an RPG, especially if its in 2d
but that dark archer was a ripoff from warcraft3 when arthas turned silvanas into the banshee queen

Fun but gets annoying fast
I really like the concept, has some good potential but the controls really need some work. Being able to click and drag for groups is cool, but not being able to hotkey these groups makes the feature kinda useless since it takes too long to click and drag the group again during battle. Also, I think the game mistakes button clicks for group selection, since I'll randomly lose control of all my units except one when I issue an attack. Also, the unit sound should not play every time an attack or an all-select is ordered, hearing the orcs spam ZUMBEH ZUMBEEEHH drives me insane.
The ally AI really needs some work, especially on unit prioritizing. I had so many times where my units would all gang up on villagers while soldiers would charge the portal, ignoring my orders to attack unless I click the unit like 5 times. They love attacking buildings too, especially when guards are surrounding them.
The upgrade menus arn't nearly as nice and neat as your older ones either. Having to wait for the sluggish animations to scroll through the upgrades really slows the game down, as with having to push a button to see what the upgrades and units do. I would go back to the older style you had, have them all on one page and show what the upgrades do when you mouse over.
Overall, this game really needs to be remade. I think the concept could really make for a fun game if the execution was better handled.
Excessive clicking, great game though
I played through the entire game, it was very entertaining and though it did feel like a bit of work it was still overall put together nicely.
The biggest complaint I have is that you spend more time reinforcing your army than anything else. You have absolutely no time to coordinate them and they need alot of direction. It would be a whole lot better if maybe every unit had more health that way they would duke it out longer than two seconds.
There definately should have been some hotkeys in here that may make it work as is. Instead of running though units to bolster your ranks maybe set units for numbers 1-9
Same goes for spells, I mean there are only two useful spells. Meteor and blizzard, so why not set those for a and s or some other key variation.
The drag and select function was pretty much useless. Once the fighting gets started it takes too long to drag and select. I found myself pressing z about as often as I was left clicking create unit.
Now it does need some work, but this is a stellar improvement from your last game. You are heading in the right direction, keep up the awesome work.
