There are a few hidden upgrades, the average playtime for this from start to finish is around 25 minutes judging from my playtesters.
WALKTHROUGH >> http://www.youtube.com/wa tch?v=kBhtqtmwKic << There is a space in the word 'watch' newgrounds is auto inserting it or something, I've removed it a dozen times. You'll have to remove it before you submit the url.
There are variations in the game depending on how you treat your crew, but nothing major. Just different dialogue and dialogue trees that open up later.

Nice!
It's not perfect, but since it was the first one.
I'll give you 9.
Looking forward for the sequel.

Sweet!
Certainly great as a first game. Quite linear, although this has the advantage of not having to draw a map :) (hint: more complex games should have one built in!) It was a bit tiresome though to have to go all the way back to get to the merchant - then waste my purchases on the monsters on the way forward...
I solved all the puzzles by myself actually, which isn't too common in such games, so maybe they were too easy :-P I agree with the suggestions to indicate more clearly the interactive parts of the environment.
Also, Wiley was talking with almost inaudibly, with much lower volume than other characters. There were other volume fluctuations too.
All in all, real nice, what with some background story and log messages. I'd love to see future episodes!
Thanks, I plan to make more in the future. ^^

Nice
super fun game, and being your first game submission, you should be very proud. It could be a little more polished, but overall a very interesting story. The puzzles were just the right difficulty, in my opinion. A couple things that you might want to consider:
There's a big pause after you shoot in combat, can get a little annoying.
The start button on the intro screen could be a little more prominent, seems hidden right now.
The robots voice seemed a bit off. I think it could use a little more "robotic" filter.
I look forward to playing your next game!
Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to avoid making those mistakes in the future.

was kinda like 2d kotor
reminded me of knights of the old republic a lot. Pretty cool game, good story and nice music voices/sounds graphics, etc. The only thing I didn't like as much, which many people said is the puzzles were too hard, for example the code for opening the box, I didn't even realize I needed a code until I had already used the datapad so I had to restart the game and do it over to see the code. The puzzle with the stones was fine, but the paint and simon says puzzles I would have not been able to do at all without the walkthrough. All in all a good first game attempt, although I question the benefit of putting points in any ability except dodge, because once I hit 15 points in dodge I just started avoiding 50-100% of all attacks, so kinda made armor useless at that point. I don't know what points in aim did for me...except make me miss fewer shots? don't think I needed many points in that. The end kind of sucked because both my grenades missed on the last guy, so when I died I had to keep going back and forth killing monsters and buying more stuff. overall a good game though
Sorry about that trouble, thanks for playing it though. ^^

Nice first game
Loved playing it. Gameplay was a little hard for me. Maybe because I'm using a mac, but the point and click wasn't working so well and I had trouble with some of the puzzles due to a lot of double-clicking.
You made a nice story and combined well the elements of adventure and RPG. The game is a bit short for upgrading actually make a difference, but it was nice to see you worried about that. Tracking back the shopkeeper was really annoying, although I only did it once and basically bought batteries for my force field.
Since this is episode one I guess you're planning on doing a sequel so my constructive critics:
1- Love the voice actors, use them more;
2- Try to add some animation, it was a bit too static throughout;
3- Give a face to our hero! I'm sure you can come up with a good excuse to show him (her?);
4- Keep up the good work.
Cheers.
Thanks a million. I'll take all of those points into consideration for the sequel, thanks so much!
