OMG it´s a pun... "Lucifer is so Old Testament"... Anyways lucifer means morning star, wich was ALSO one of the nicknames of Jesus Christ (aka Jewish Star)... Lucifer was an arch angel, the choir leader if you will. Dunno if he was supposed to be the same divine entity that got reborn in human flesh or if the double use of the nickname just happened... The Lucifer we know, Lucifer of hell, gathered angels and followed satan down. Now "the devil" or a devil, is any evil divine entity, including demons, Satan, fallen angels, Dhjinn´s, some chinese dragons etc...
