Well I am working in the second part of it, with some surprises and of course I will take all your advises, and put them on place. :)
This seems a decent start, controls need some work and there aren't any hit states on the buttons "just a personal pet peeve". The words "cursor to move" are on the main play area yet I had to use the arrow keys, may just be an issue on my end.

This wasn't too bad for a first experience I guess. First, it would probably be better to put more effort into the beginning. You need to put movement there so it doesn't look like you just showed pictures. The little intermissions between levels are nice. During those little spots I think it would be a good idea to make an upgrade system that you see in many of these other games like this. Like you could upgrade the character's speed. You could also make it so you can buy something bigger to smack the bugs with like a tennis racket. The difficulty for this game was a little high it seemed. (Maybe I just suck) You might want to lower the rate that the bugs come at first. I also noticed that you could not swat the bugs once they got lower than a certain point, I recommend fixing that like adding a lower clap thing. Other than that, it could be pretty sweet. KEEP IT UP!!!

Agree about the upgrade system, thinking of that I made the second mode with the monkey. Have you try it?

One of the issues i had was that i could not kill some of the flies that were close to the bottom of the screen, then they would fly up and into the food, no way to hit them before they got there.
