Okay, this was part of my coursework for university and I'm submitting it now before I get too ashamed of it later. The simple purpose of the animation from an academic topic was to show how flash allows solo animators to become "True Autuers", in that they can make or at least control/edit every part of an animation themselves.

Put simply, The main character, Miles, found a pair of nifty headphones that can elevate his reactions and muscular functions through data that's transmitted as music (to help stop the user going crazy, letting them use them for longer.)

He's stopping a group of civilians that are being kidnapped to be turned into mechanical robots for devious schemes. Yes, the main villain must clearly be DR. ROBOTNIK *cough*nonotreally.*cough *

Feel free to lash out about the many many things in this that could be vastly improved such as the sub-par voice acting much of this was done with little to no sleep at the time. I'll learn how to do things to an acceptable degree EVENTUALLY. Other than that, enjoy.

Please don't distribute this on flash/video hosting sites, you can ask me to upload it for you on whatever if you want, like YouTube, and I'll likely comply. kthnxbai!

Well done.

I understand what some others are saying about the animation, but you are up and coming. Some of the animation loops, like the guard's arm, were very impressive and lifelike. Animating speech is tough, and I think you did well for the little that was done. Voice acting was fine. And everything will grow with time. Oh, and great use of the music coming in and out depending on his headphones being on or off. Neat.

althought many ppl seem to be hating on this i dont see anything wrong with it sure the storyline seems familiar but not identical the animation is among the top of newgrounds i mean seriously there is worse and i like the fact that much remains a mystery leaving me hoping u make more and renegade25 if u payed attention in stead of fapping to the robots u woulda seen his actual eyes the pause and play sign is a display on the goggles wen he removes or puts the headphones on

well then...

Not a bad idea, but it is in my own opinion that you shouldn't have made his goggles so see through. it would have looked WAY cooler if they were tinted over. As for the animation itself, it wasn't bad but wasn't great.

ummmmmmm what just happened?

Is it just me or does the plot sound like it is a mixture of that old NES game sewer sharks and half life 2? The animation was decent. The plot although taken from two great games sucked. And it felt like a crappy trailer for a horrible movie. All around it's watchable but it's only worth one watch. If you ever try to improve on this try making it a little more original and maybe a little longer. PS: whats with the headphones and goggles? Those combined with the freaky eyes makes this guy the freakiest thing since the spitters from left 4 dead.

Link3Kokiri responds:

Freaky eyes? are you sure you're not refering to just the lens markings on the goggles themselves? xD
