Shawnee Jenkins' parents eat people and live in the cellar, but that's okay. They're still Mom and Dad.

Spectacular
This was so sad and almost made me cry at the end. I loved it, one of the best flashes i've seen so far. The end was great.

Awesome flash
Wow, I randomly came across this just now while watching Halloween flashes. I'm surprised I didn't come across it sooner but I'm glad I did.
The art is great-- simple but effective considering the storybook style.
The voice over is professional and I like how you voiced all the other characters too. It's hard to do a narrative without it getting boring but this was really well executed.
Anyway, I just favorited you and now I'm going to go watch your other stuff!

Good Ending.
Man, I Hate Being Left In The Dark At The End, But The After The Ending Glimpse Made It So Much More Worth It. Great Story. All Of You Narrators Are Awsome, By The Way.

One of the best flashes out there.
Absolutely sublime flash. The narration is superb, it feels like the narrator's telling this gruesome tale straight to me. I love how well you combine conflicting elements, how what would be utter horror to anybody else is the whole world, ordinary life for Shawnee. The flash gives me the chills at times, makes me laugh with its sheer grotesque imagery at others, and makes me feel a little weak at the end.
