I find this very interesting.
So just to make sure I completely understand this story. Her folks became Vampires and they became detached from her (as only rotting decaying murdering things can) but they still loved her and they stayed around for her to one day get into a sitation where they could bite her to save her and once they had made sure she could survive on her own. They took there own lives because they were tired of what they became?
