Amazing stuff!
I totally wasn't expecting an entire re-creation of the first Mario!
Yeah, some of the characters don't fit perfectly into the Mario world, but that doesn't matter, its much more fun that way!
The coding must be pretty damn solid, i played through 3 worlds before getting a game over :(
And I didn't really come across any noticable bugs or glitchiness, very nicely done.
If you're making a similar type sequel to this perhaps switch a few characters around? just off the top of my head I think a character like Pit from Kid Icarus would fit in the game quite well

If you cut this game, it would bleed excellence.
This is perfect. All of the sprites are perfect, the sound effects are perfect, the controls are perfect, and the music ques were perfect. Taking down Bowser with the Wave Beam, hearing Air Man's music play when your in the clouds, THIS IS PERFECT!!! If I ever meet you (creator of game) in public, I will hug you without notice. And your gonna have to take it no matter what. This game kicks ass!!!
