This is act 2 of 3 of my 8-Bit Dr. Horrible project.

All music, sound effects, graphics and animation for "Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Game" were created by me as a tribute to Dr. Horrible (by Joss Whedon) and the NES. You can download the full 8-bit soundtrack from my website (follow the link in my profile and click on the Dr. Horrible banner at the top of the blog posts).

Programs used in the creation of this animation:
Graphics: Adobe Photoshop
Animation: Adobe Flash
Sequencing: FL Studio
Instruments: NES+MidiNES
Mastering: Adobe Soundbooth
Sound Effects: SFXR

Note: This is not an actual game as of now but there are interested parties that I may be working with to create one eventually. Also, I realize there are spelling and continuity errors so please don't bother commenting on those - while not all intentional, I chose to leave them in since a lot classic Nintendo games had similar issues and I thought it added extra authenticity to the project.

Really great

I've always loved movies made from the villian's perspective. The only thing I can't help but wonder is if anyone else thought pixel Penny looked a little like Ronald McDonald...

Cant wait to see this as a game!

If this was an actual NES this game would of been a cult classic and one of the best games ever!

I am one who notices flaws with NES and SNES games and i dont see anything out of place! some videos of their own 8 bit videos or what not look more like a 16 bit game and so on, so Im glad to see how consistent you stayed with everything!

Huh...

I am left some what perplexed by this animation, but the fact that I did sit and watch it the whole way through warrents at least a 6. The story is a bit weak but the hammer/penis joke made me laugh. Its a good use of the style, but as I said, you need to pick up the pace with the story I think.
