My first solo flash submission!??! Just kind of a short experiment.. do pardon the file size, I know it's a little on the short side. A five-day exercise based on a story a professor of mine once told me. I'll spare the details so you can decide what it means for yourself.

Done entirely in Flash CS3 and Photoshop CS2 (including the 3D looking stuff, which is actually only some 2D trickery)... rendered to video because the number of simultaneous filters and effects in some parts tend to make Flash players seriously unhappy :0
It actually took me longer to sort out the file formatting than it did to animate and draw... go figure?!

Using the "dim the lights" feature kind of helps too.

Plz do enjoy.
Thx

This is a crazy good animation.

Everything was detailed, the sound quality was really good, everything about the animation worked. It was great.

The "plot" was really goo too. A baby reaching for a crane outside the window, but realizing it's out of grasp. At first the baby was excited for the new possible toy, but when realization hit it, it slowly got sad.

Very good. It's really deep. It kinda has to be if you got the story from a professor.

The animation was good

I really hope there is an underlying theme and that I'm just not really grasping it... it has been an unfortunate trend on Newgrounds lately, to submit somewhat artsy, vague-ass flash movies that are just so fucking vague and random that people start spamming the comment section about the emotional connection that they just made with the movie on a spiritual level, or some baloney. Otherwise it was good. :D

That was cool dude!

Thank you for not conforming your work to fit any popular standards. We shouldn't have to apologize for just expressing a simple idea.
