Newgrounds Radio is a nifty gadget that streams music from the Newgrounds Audio Portal right to your computer.

There are over 300,000 amazing songs and counting in the Portal, and you can listen to them all in one convenient place with Newgrounds Radio. If you like a song, you can add it to your Favorites list, which will be there every time you come back. If you want to repeat a song you didn't favorite, you can always look back at your History list and search through all the songs you've previously listened to.

Newgrounds Radio even features an epic visualizer that allows you to see the songs you're listening to. Of course, you're free to just open some new tabs and keep NG Radio open so you can listen to epic music!

I'm also working on a standalone version of Newgrounds Radio so you can listen to it without having to open up your browser.

Thanks to Sh0t-D0wn, EJR, Twilight, Farza, KevnSevn, and all my other testers for testing this!

Special Super Thanks to HDXMike for being awesome.

Brilliant!

... but one problem: how are we going to use this? We already have access to newgrounds music; we can just go to the audio portal.

Please tell me how you'll improve on this...

It's to keep everything in one place.

If I could add anything..

I would add a type of Genre button. Simply put, by default the option would be, random, thus anything being played next would be, random. However, say I wanted to listen to only Jazz, or let's go with Video Game, it would be really nice to have a button or option to be only listening to, even if it's random, to that of the Genre you want to hear.

It would be like tuning your radio station to a Rock Station, because all you want to hear is Rock Music.

Still, as is, it's pretty good. 8/10

Amazing!! I am glad someone made it.

This is really great!! I am glad you made this. It is a great way to experience the audio portal. Without having having to search through a bunch of stuff yourself.

I like it

Nice to see it works. Also you can go to the page to where to song is at and rate it to. Also the favorite button works but it dose not add it to your user page though. Any ways ill give it 4/5.

Great Application

This is an amazing flash that works well even with a below-average internet connection. There is a good mix of visualisers and they all appear aesthetically pleasing. Songs load quickly and come out clear. Regarding all this, however, there is an issue I found with this, and one suggestion.

The issue is regarding the song length. I am aware that this application loads the music while it's playing, but the song length changes while it is loading, which affects the bar next to it. Is it possible for you to try and pre-load the song length before it plays, then have how much of it has loaded in a different colour (a darker blue, for example) on the bar.

My suggestion is to insert a section to restrict the types of songs that are chosen. Some people would like to listen to certain types of music, and others want to listen to more popular music. With customisable restrictions on rating and type, these types of people will become satisfied with the selections of music a lot more.
