Newgrounds Radio is a nifty gadget that streams music from the Newgrounds Audio Portal right to your computer.

There are over 300,000 amazing songs and counting in the Portal, and you can listen to them all in one convenient place with Newgrounds Radio. If you like a song, you can add it to your Favorites list, which will be there every time you come back. If you want to repeat a song you didn't favorite, you can always look back at your History list and search through all the songs you've previously listened to.

Newgrounds Radio even features an epic visualizer that allows you to see the songs you're listening to. Of course, you're free to just open some new tabs and keep NG Radio open so you can listen to epic music!

I'm also working on a standalone version of Newgrounds Radio so you can listen to it without having to open up your browser.

Thanks to Sh0t-D0wn, EJR, Twilight, Farza, KevnSevn, and all my other testers for testing this!

Special Super Thanks to HDXMike for being awesome.

cool

seriously epic stuff here

one suggestion though, could you set an option to actually turn off the visualiser? I am listening on my netbook, and I am getting at most 0.2 fps because of the visual effects.

Impressive

Future additions could include filtering settings or a framework to allow users to develop their own niche to find music according to previous liked music. Of course it's not easy to make, at least an effective one, but I think it a good long-term goal.
Since you can save your favorites and go back to them later, maybe you could add on this and create playlists? Or at least be able to only play your favorites instead of just one song and going back to the random songs that is the radio.
I would imagine it being really nifty to be able to rate songs through the radio, but I would imagine that may go beyond what you can do because of the site. Still an idea nonetheless.
Also, be able to sort your favorites by ID, Name or Author. Maybe even history but allowing a time category so they can still look back to most recent, but if they think they remember the name and just want to search it.

There's a lot of room for this and I'm sure you're aware of that. Definitely something I look forward to seeing refinements from.

Needs Filter Settings

I would love filter settings; ie filter by genre, filter by rating, filter by length, filter by artist, etc...

Other than that, great app.
