This has been a hell of a long time coming. I spent a month and a half storyboarding it for a storyboard class last semester, and this semester I learned how to do some awesome frame by frame animation. I took my old storyboard and animated it, and this is what I got. There was a lot at the beginning that got cut off, but I figured people don't need much exposition for freaking Pizza Waffles.

This was my final for 2D animation - we had to make a 30 second animation at 24fps, using everything we've learned. Safe to say I'm damn proud of this cartoon. It's definitely the best thing I've ever made. I tried bullshitting my way through frame by frame with the SRM Star Wars Holiday Special I did back in November, just to see what it was like. Safe to say, this cartoon is leaps and bounds better than that one.

Anyway, please watch and I hope you enjoy it! If you have any questions on how to make pizza waffles, ask me! This is based on a true story after all.

If I had longer to work on it I would have added the thirty seconds or so of exposition at the beginning - with only enough time to make a 30 second animation, I went for the more interesting part!

Thanks for watching :)

Well done

It was better than I expected. But pizza waffles? That's new to me, and I work at my parents pizza store where we try anything new with pizzas. But that's beside the point, animation was well done, though I'm sure if you had more time to work on it the artwork would have been twice, if not thrice as much better. Sound Quality was good, nothing to sound like a critic there. So before I start rambling... Summary: It was very well done.

Well, pizza waffles themselves were invented out of necessity when I had no pizza yet wanted some. Try em out!

Better than I expected.

It was funnier than I expected, mostly because of the voices. I liked the fact that there was hardly any talking, but just weird noises. Other than that the animation was pretty good, a little rough but in a stylized way. Also it was a little short.
Well done though.

Battosai810 responds:

Thanks! I originally had a lot of dialogue, but I found that it's a more effective cartoon without it. I figured if I could cut it down to just the necessities I could have a better cartoon - glad you enjoyed it!

actually pretty cool

i normally don't click on the green-titled flashes but since the name consisted of my 2 favourite things in the entire world, i did. this was really good, even though it was very short. the only things you'll need to do in the future are making the flying waffles look less retarded and the increasing the length of the movie.

Battosai810 responds:

This really should have been a blue movie - I'm guessing it got downvoted because it wasn't a videogame parody. I've made some really shitty animations with 4.0 or higher scores here. What was your problem with the flying waffles? Anyway, thanks for watching!

Strangely appealing.

I liked it, I thought it was pretty funny, particularly because I like how expressive the two characters were. The animation was great also, very smooth.

Soooo...how do you make pizza waffles?

Battosai810 responds:

Glad you liked it! All you need to make a Pizza Waffle is some tomato sauce, cheese, and frozen waffles. Toaster oven is the preferred way to make em. Thanks for watching the toon!
