It is the year 2010 and Pitfall Harry has returned to the jungle in search of more treasure. Why would he risk venturing into a jungle filled with dangerous tar pits, rolling logs, scorpions, rattlesnakes and more? The sad truth is Harry has a horrible gambling problem. He quickly blew all the money he made way back in 1982 after escaping that deadly jungle with golden treasures. So he's left with one of two choices... deal with the loan sharks who want nothing more than to see him dead, or risk it all by returning to the jungle for more treasure. Harry chose the latter of the two options and now finds himself back in that jungle once again. It may look the same, but Harry has a feeling that the dangers are even greater this time around. I liked it.
Until I got to the 3 alligator jump on expert going to the last boss. No matter what I do I can't get the timing down to make it across.
So fuck me. I can't see the ending. :(.

Hahaha sweet!
I agree with rcrkar3, the ending its pretty cool lol. Liked the story behind it too, quite funny idea! The classic pitfall pixel animation and sound effects were awesome as well :)

how to beat pitfall 2010 ?????
in order to beat this game you must get killed by all 3 bosses : sinstar,mecha kong and tankman from mega man in one sitting when you do you will unlock expert mode its basically the same except that you run like you on drugs
Then get killed by all the bosses on expert mode(you have infinite lives on expert mode ) and you will get the BEST ENDING EVER IN NEWGROUNDS HISTORY seriously it awesome i mean pitfall larry gets £$%^^&&**!"$$^&&** then he £$£^%&&** and finally he$$^&*((%$£ and thats pitfall larry walkthrough

if you go backwards then eventually you see some random boss i guess and he eats your head 0,0

You can't win so kinda no point in playing. Sinistar made me lawl though and you made me wanna play it again
