-- Update 6th April 2010 --
Thank you to everybody who left feedback on this game. In response to the general message coming across in the reviews, I have implemented a 'hard' mode. This mode has it's own scoreboard, and makes the game a lot more balanced.

Please note that whilst this game does offer extra content through GamerSafe, I have tried very hard to include a huge selection of weapons, traps and upgrades without the need to use GamerSafe. I realise that not everybody is in a position to pay for items, but by adding additional content I am allowing people to expand the game if they want to.
-------------------------

Night of the Cursed is a fast paced top-down zombie shooter. Survive through the night in Story mode, fighting off wave after wave of the undead.

Story mode allows you to fight co-operativley (with AI) against an ever-increasing flow of Zombies. After each wave is complete, you can purchase from a choice of 25 unique weapons, buy upgrades for your weapons, and place traps in the arena to hinder the zombie's progress.

GamerSafe scoreboards, achievements and microtransactions are used to further increase the immersion.

The game also has a Survival mode, where players begin with a set amount of money, and their aim is to survive for as long as possible against a never-ending chain of zombies. This is a highly comptetitive mode with it's own scoreboard.

Features include professional artwork, voice-acted characters and a completely custom music score.

I'm so bored

I can't stand anymore those WASD things, geez ! Is it so complex to use the arrows like in every normal game ?
Plus, the sounds effects and voices are real bad-integrated, and the whole atmosphere of the game is quite ugly...
...to me.

fun game

the game is fun but its just that it gets really repetitive after a while and the glitches that occur while you can stock up on weapons is a bit annoying.. but other than that its a pretty good game

Quick review

Some good, alot of bad, let us start positively:
It is addictive, it is basic and fun and the bad is mostly fixable.

here is the bad in order from least to worst:
1. Voice acting was lack luster.
2. Sound effects made me sigh and stress.
3. Lack of power-up types.
4. Weapons, I got the combat shotgun very quickly, and here at over a million points I have needed nothing else. With the reload and accuracy upgrades on the Combat Shotgun I can one or two shot an enemy, and using problem number 6 I haven't even gotten close to being touched. I can shoot one shell a second and never have to delay for a reload, because the Speed Loader makes it that a single second interval can be constant and effective.
5. Bugged walking, the game bugs out sometimes when walking.
6. This was EASILY exploitable, The Mines, They drop a mine every thirty seconds, they are fairly cheap, and fairly effective. Right now I have the entire trip from any door to me rigged with them, and they never reach me, the only doorway I can not stack mines in is the one in my room, which even with just four mines is no problem, Mines are cheap, easy, effective and easily exploitable. Fix it, make them either more expensive, make the explosion interval longer or limited, or make Zombies give less points.
