It's kinda like a cross between Spore and WarCraft... maybe.
This is what happens when I don't have a job. Nice marmot, by the way. Also, for those of you that don't want to play the tutorial or just "don't get it..." here is how to play:
-Click on units to select (can drag box around to select multiple units)
-Deselect units with SPACE or the Deselect Button (bottom right)
-With unit(s) selected, click empty space to move, food unit to gather, cell pool to return food, or enemy unit to attack
-With single unit, click and drag from the Nucleobase Buttons (A, T, C, G) at the bottom of the screen into the DNA strand to edit DNA. Do this to make your cells BETTER.
-M - Split units
-Q - attack to (will move and attack along the way)
-P - create/join pool (can create new units there for free)
-X - stop actions
-1-4 - special attacks (if enabled)
-Arrows or WASD - move screen
Hover over buttons in-game to see what the hotkey is for it.

fun but
Love a good RTS first of all, and quite a unique one to boot.
It was rather easy though. all you had to do was make several spawn points (since you can technically mae tons of weak units for free) and zerg rush everybody. you can customize individual units and have them produce a different weaker spawned unit. the game was essentially broken.

Interesting.
The game has a basic idea that is fun to play with but in the way that it is explained you get lost or you feel its too wordy and want to get to the game. It is fun when after you take the time to read each little thing and understand it. It could use a very hard to explain concept were it should be more basic yet also more detailed and how each mutation affects its type or color. I had a lot of fun playing it but, this game is no "find the controls get some tips play." type of game if you make an updated version take what i said in to consideration.
I was thinking about not putting in the little bubbles that describes all the changes when you update DNA for this reason. It might be worth it, I guess...
