I filmed this with my phone and then converted the file to a format that Flash can use.
After doing this, I proceeded to add effects and HUD and what not.
I'm rather pleased with the end result.
:D
Starring RickyTheHedgehog as the monster.

I will give you...
3/10 but just because this idea holds quite some potential.
Try to animate something next time or at least animate the major part.
Keep trying. :)

To animate or not to animate...
I do agree that NG is a flash/animation site. However, it is also known that many professional animators integrate real-life video into their animations. It's all about what you do with it to work for you instead of against you. If the majority of your project is comprised of real-life video, then you have to reevaluate what you are doing. Thats the difference between camera-man and animator ;)

Newgrounds is for amination.
Youtube is for video. That's ok, you can go back to youtube. It's alright. Newgrounds is for Flash animation, not video. Video is better suited for youtube. They love it there! Newgrounders prefer this site to be for animation. Your score will reflect this.
This submission wasn't bad. It just wasn't entertaining. Or interesting. And as it wasn't animation, I couldn't give it a much of a score. Sorry.

Borderline
its quite an interesting idea, but its very short, crude and there isn't much to it. Really its probably much more fun for you to make than for us to watch.
you could make something of this idea, if you could actually give it a storyline that would be interesting and a bit more length.
Overall it is not worth the huge bandwidth for something so simple, but as an idea, I don't want to discourage your creative effort.
