This Shows You How To Import Videos Into Flash. Sorry For Bad Quality!!! And It Takes A While To Load Because Its 7 MB So Please Wait :)
Not bad, but not good either
Contrary to what the others say, I can hear you just fine -- Though the quality of the video is rather dissapointing, and I already knew how to do this without looking at any video guides or just guides in general.
The Flash version is, though, rather outdated, if you want to repost this, or make a new one, I'd download the newer version of flash and compress the video file when you're done, and maybe the sound, too.
This is a really good video for someone who's just getting started with Flash, if for some reason they didn't have the means to buy the newer version.
I said sorry about the quality!!! And I did not know this flash version was super old. Ah im all muddled up these days :(
Though the steps in CS4 are quite similar the version of Flash used is far outdated and there are far more options in CS4 (like clipping your video before import). Also you mention nothing about Action Script another method of using videos in Flash. This guide is unhelpful and outdated.
Is there a way to get this blammed? I think i hate the shiz out of it too
The quality of the vid is atrocious. If you plan on doing this ever again, i suggest lowering your computers resolution beforehand. This way, you'll have a lot less distortion when fitting it down to the size you want for the flash vid.
Plus the audio quality wasnt that good either, but that can be easily blamed on a crappy mic.
all in all.. Redo it XD
You're not doing your own tutorial any favours.
Kudos for trying, but there are a few very large and obvious problems with this:
The quality isn't just bad, it's hopeless. The things you're doing are totally illegible thanks to the low resolution of the video (and the sound isn't much better - I've got my speakers turned right up and I still can't hear it clearly). Since I'm guessing you used you're own way of importing videos here, you're not exactly selling the method very well.
Also, there's the filesize. 7.4 MB, and for what? If this is what importing videos results in (read: a whole lot of nothing), why bother importing videos like this at all?
...For that matter, there's an air of pointlessness about the whole thing in general. All you're really doing here (I think) is clicking a button that says 'Import...' and following the on-screen prompts. Gee, I'd never have thought of doing that if I wanted to import a video into flash. :/
If you want to make tutorial flashes, it's crucial that you actually know more than most about Flash to start with, and making sure you're not just pointing out the blaringly obvious (or what's been pointed out a million times already in previous tutorial flashes) is also important. It's nice to see someone use the 'import' tool for something other than stealing YouTube videos for a change, but at the same time, just drawing / animating the same thing would've worked a lot better than this did.
It file size was huge because of the tut vid that I had to import and the quality was bad because i had to resize it a little!!!
A bone to pick with you.
1. Please use a better microphone. I can't hear you
2. Your version of flash is almost obsolete. Get a new version.
3. Compress your audio to save filesize.
4. Compress your video to save on filesize.
4 Don't capitalize the first letter of every word you type; it is irritating to read
it was suppose to be capital
Pilot for my new show!
