orbiting game controlled only by the spacebar. if you get too far out of a planet's orbit, you lose a life, you have 3 lives to begin with. collect moons for extra points. enter black holes to finish a level.

the idea is good but

the controls are too sensitive. and maybe add some controls for the arrow keys

Not bad

But you need to improve on the gravitational pull a little more, the area for which the pull should occur should be greater of less for certain objects, especially the bigger planets and the dark hole.

Life bar

Why does a cosmonaut die? Is he running out of air? A life (or, maybe - air) bar would sure clear things up.

cjgammon responds:

thanks for the comments. i think i made it more clear now and added instructions that explain what's going on better. but he doesn't run out of air, instead the ship gets out of orbit and falls into the depths of space. i tried to visually represent this by replacing the cosmonaut with the spaceship. thanks again!

Pretty good.

It was interesting, once I understood what was going on.

Instructions and an intro at the beginning would be wonderful.
Keep adding to it, I love the original idea for this.
I like the challenge it brings.

But instructions is needed for this.

cjgammon responds:

you're right, i added some instructions now, i hope it is a bit more clear.
