The first of the A.E. Chronics series. This is a little bit different from WHOOKOS. Don't expect too much of a story from this episode as barely any of the story is covered. Then again this is chapter 0. Either way, enjoy!

Passable, though it has tremendous potential.
I like horror and anime, and so I must admit that the 6 I'm giving is mainly out of bias. I would like to point out a few things you should improve on.
First, the characters. they're too bland. They just woke up like it was just a weird day. they were like, "was there an earthquake?" Instead of "what the hell's happened around here?" This, coupled with the generic, lacking-wrecked-cars-and-general-coll ateral-damage backgrounds, make for a poor atmosphere. It's suspenseful only because I think it should be suspenseful. It does not elicit much emotion from me. the ending was too abrupt, as well.
But the art is good (though the ball was a bit overdone) and what I know of the story so far will certainly make me poke around in the future. this can certainly head in a better direction.

interesting
I've always been a fan of apacolypse style stories, mostly for the mystery, what are the monsters? what happened? will the 3 characters manage to find each other? and what happened to kyo? interesting concept I'm into it
