Created for a class project. This is my first flash creation longer than a few seconds. I understand that there are problems, as with the alpha (which I couldn't figure out how to fix, the characters need to be transparent because at low alpha they are ghosts; I will be working with this! tips appreciated!), and that a mute button may be in order. I also understand that this is not a great flash by the standards of the best ones on the website, but any help you want to offer (aside from "s2pid movie" etc, or telling me how many zeros I get) is very welcome. Constructive criticism, please! Thanks for watching. :]

P.S. - playing with a preloader, not good at it yet XP
EDIT: 3-18-10 4:52PM: PAUSE FIXED!

That was amazing for a first flash.

not bad

love it but needs a liltle brightning

Cormamin520 responds:

Brightening as in colors, or brightening as in subject matter? The colors are supposed to be very muted, except for certain bits (the inner house, pictures, girl, etc); was it too dark on your monitor? I worked on an LCD backlit Apple monitor, so it may have been a bit overkill on some computers. Anything you'd like to elaborate, please send me a message! Thanks!

Pretty nice video

I liked how you were able to put a nice little story into this flash cartoon. Sure, the animation could really use some work, but it is at least good enough to pass. It helps that I am a big fan of cats and their sincerity is something that I can relate to. I think there may be something wrong with the "Play" button, as I had to use the scenes. Anyway, the transition effects worked well enough, especially with the guy. I suggest you add in some more color effects and make it a little longer.

Cormamin520 responds:

I'm not sure when you played this, as I fixed it at least once, but from my end the play buttons work perfectly (I wasn't sure if you meant the mini-button at the top right, or the main "Play" in the first frame; I tested both, as well as the hit states, so feel free to send me a message elaborating! want to get it right :])

The time constraints were due to the time I had to spend on the movie itself. I'm definitely planning on working on both this and my actual skills (or lack thereof), but I was so happy to make my first real presentable flash movie I had to get it up here. XD

Thank you very much for your candid response; I appreciate it. :]

Very good for your first flash. All buttons seemed to work, and was pretty emotional. Well done, well done!

Cormamin520 responds:

Thank you! I worked hard on the buttons. XD Kudos to my teacher for helping me out with that.

Not bad at all

A bit rough around the edges, but I see no giant issues.

P.S. - It was a little sad

Cormamin520 responds:

It's supposed to be. I was thinking of the end of The Butterfly Effect, if you've seen it. :P Thanks!
