The Knytt Engine?
I knew it right away as a player of Knytt Stories. This is the Knytt Engine made by Nifflas, but modded a little bit to accommodate for the gimmick. It's at the very least the same character graphics and tile sets.
Well, to that end, the level design is nice enough, the concept is interesting enough and I'm curious to see what the rest of the world looks like. Adding a leader board is always a good idea with this sort of thing. Still, Knytt engine games are usually used to make exploration games rather than action platforming. Maybe try that instead? It's cool what you went with all the same, I'm just somewhat caught off guard that someone made a Knytt flash game rather than submitting a level to Nifflas's forums.
