It has a very Metroid-esque feel to it.
There were a few graphical glitches here and there, but all in all, this is a very well put together game.

Pretty sweet
A fun exploration metroid-esque game. Great game with lots of puzzle solving to find all the crystals. My biggest complaint is that when I was trying to get to the last crystal the pixels get all fucked up and the controls get...less than responsive. The messed up pixels didn't really bug me but the control issues really killed me. honestly that alone is what separated this from a 10 to an 8

Monuments of Mars
Wow, instant nostalgia, This game reminds me of a old (Circa '91) Apogee game called Monuments of Mars. Look it up and you'll see the similarities, well that and what us old codgers considered good CGA graphics. =) Yep, nothing like Newgrounds to make you remember your pixelated past!
