Pretty good!
First off; 073715468's post made me want to ram a fork in my eyes.
Second off: The game itself is pretty good and the music was nice and cheerful, all in all it's a pretty fun game yet it seems as if it can get boring after a while.

Well...
The game was good, but it didn't exactly have the feel of your regular Mario game. If I could just point out a few things:
1. I couldn't jump on an enemy just by walking off of a block or a ledge. It just seems slightly unfair. That's all.
2. Jumping while walking down a slope wasn't possible for some reason. I mean, I understand why this happens, but it would be nice to fix.
3. Brown blocks couldn't be destroyed. I mean, really? I LOVE destroying those things. It'd be even better if you could implement the koopa-shell-breaking-blocks scheme, especially since it's a puzzle game.
4. I can't kick enemy shells by just walking into them. That's okay, except for when there's a roof of bricks over your head and a bunch of enemies in your way.
5. It seemed like I had too much time just to beat one level. Each level seemed extremely short and easy. Maybe there could be a hard mode, with less time given to beat the level.
It's fun, but after a while it becomes a repetitive hide-and-seek. Hit switch, kill enemy, grab shine sprite. Level 5 (or six, you know, the one with the falling platforms) seemed like a very unique one, though.
On the plus side, I loved the sprites and sound effects that you used. It's a very colorful game (except for the last level, but you know what I mean) with a very refreshing concept.

Fantastic game!
I was pretty surprised at how fun this game turned out to be! I knew I had to check it out seeing as how "Super Mario Sunshine 63" had a similar premise and is one of my favorite games here. It was also a cool and neat surprise to see Bowser at the end. I also loved how Mario was designed and it is truly a unique design seeing as how he has been designed so many times before. The things I saw were all very authentic to the original Mario games. I did not like it how you could not get any powerups.
