A game by Bentosmile (ported to Flash by Raitendo)

Bentosmile's comments:

Air Pressure is a visual novel game that I've been working on on-and-off for a while. It has only three different endings, but a lot of branches!

I hope you enjoy it. It is quite a serious game, I guess. :)

Interesting idea.

It took me a while to figure out the message that was metaphorically portrayed here. The opening lines: 'I met her when I was a teenager', and 'she wrapped herself around my left arm' were the pieces of the story that finally got me to say 'ooohhh, now I get it.'

The transitions were well done, and reminded me of old gameboy pokemon games. The pixel-art was good and aligned properly, which I happen to know is hard to do with italic text.

Great work, to the both of you.

raitendo responds:

I didn't do the graphics, I just converted the entire downloadable game to flash. /Raitendo

Nice game... if a little slow-paced.

Loved the art style, and the music really fit!
The nostalgic atmosphere created was perfect...
And the underlying metaphors (i.e. cutting or heroin, whichever leigh is meant to represent) were just so well put!

This game is just beautiful... love it!

I'm Guessing

I, like other people who posted here; think she wasn't real. But quite truthfully; I might've kept her if I was the guy. Sure I might be considered schizophrenic, but I wouldn't really care too much as long as I had my love; whether she be real or fake; she was apparently real enough to make him believe she was for several years. Now I want an imaginary girlfriend like Leigh xD

I agree

this has a nice story, but I think that you can replace Leigh in the story with Heroin; I agree with Galilee on that part. if you try to keep her, you end up in the hospital. and if you leave, you are happy because maybe you quit. Love it!

I find it sad because, the ending where he feels happy, is when he leaves her? :S (or at least one of them is)

and as lame as this sounds, I get scared my boyfriend feels like that. Hahah
