This is the story of Katan, a little aztec critter who works as a stonemason on huge pyramid projects. He's an eager, talented employee who beleives strongly in what the project stands for, putting in endless overtime to get things done.
When a less committed, self-serving employee hatches a plan to steal the soul jewel of the temple, the mysterious crystal skull, Katan finds himself under blame and attack from the very monument he helped to create.

I started making this toon November 2008 and finally exported it in January 2010.
Various delays, injuries, graduations and jobs made it hard to focus on for a lot of the time- but it is fairly safe to say that it took a year to make... Which also accounts for the style changes and quality progression evident throughout the four mins of play time ;)

Awesonly Entertaining
I love FutureSquirrel and all his/her work... =^-^= oh i thought it was hilarious when the bottom of the elevator said OTIS in block letters... (OTIS is a big elevator company) one of my favorite NG videos..

I know im overthinking it...
But how exactly is the laser bolt supposed to work when it is night time?!?
I absolutely love this flash though, it is almost like a short Indiana Jones movie :)

A Great Adventure
Review:
I love this video. The background was cartoonish but very well done. The music is brilliant, it matches each scene and action. The plot was extremely interesting, starting with the construction of the Aztec temple to the fast paced action scenes during the middle and ending of the video. Another reason why I like this animation is because it tells us that doing bad things can have major conquences on us. I also think that the creatures look like a Neopet, if you know what a neopet is. Overall I think this flash was very enjoyable. 10/10
