Effective Legislator Syndrome is a serious condition that affects American politicians. The symptoms include confidence, refusal to compromise one's principles, and passionate defense of the Constitution. Fortunately, there is a cure for E.L.S., and if you believe you or someone you voted for may be affected, then I urge you to watch this. Thank you, and God bless America.
UPDATE (3/23/10): We just passed health care reform, rendering most of this cartoon totally outdated.

Very funny & good satire.
A very funny short with a message. Didn't outstay its welcome either. Cool.
Thanks!

This made me chuckle. Posted it on my Twitter; hope it'll get you some hits.
Haha, thank you. :D

Very funny. . .
I'm a Democrat (Libertarian) myself, and I found this pretty fun. The animation and art was sub-par, though, which will inevitably be the downfall of this. Hell, I liked this so much, I'd like to remake it myself with some better art, ha ha, if you'd like to collaborate; but, back to the review. The art and animation, like I said, was pretty bad. It could have improved dramatically, and I'd love to see it do so.
The audio was pretty good, and the voice acting was very funny and well-acted. Some more and diverse background audio or music would have been great, but what you had certainly sufficed.
The writing was funny, and made me laugh out loud, but honestly a little inaccurate. We have some courageous people among us, like Evan Bayh and/or Alan Grayson, Alan Grayson particularly is somewhat of a hero of mine. This whole movie kind of begs the question (for me, at least): what party do you claim, if one at all?
In conclusion, this is a decent flash. It has a suitable score, I think, and I'd like to see more clever and though-provoking funny, political movies like this in the portal. I'm voting four on this submission, because it's funny and clever, and I want to raise the score.
Wow, that was constructive.
Yeah, I agree about the art/animation. This was kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing, so I definitely could've spent more time on it.
And yes, I know there are some courageous Democrats (personally, I like Jim McDermott), but right now, I'm irritated enough to make sweeping generalizations. As for my political stance, I guess you'd call me a libertarian socialist, though I don't really like relegating my entire ideology to a buzzword.
Thanks for the review.

wow
I had always known it existed, but I never knew they had a NAME for it. Man, I got to spread this around, there may be thousands of inflicted politicians out there, totally unaware of their own crippling condition! (seriously though, I give you props for being ballsy enough to post right wing propaganda on newgrounds)
Haha, it's not right-wing propaganda (as evidenced by my portrayal of the typical Republican as an uneducated hick); I was just mad at the Democrats for totally failing at governing. Thanks for the review.

good..
I like the political view in this flash about the democrats being spineless
Well, I'm glad.
