** EDIT **-----------------------
IF YOU ARE EXPERIANCING THE "STICKY KEYS" BUG PLEASE TRY THE GAME IN GOOGLE CHROME IT APPEARS TO WORK THERE. (Source is Cheesenip. Please thank him too if it fixes the issue.)

ANOTHER POSSIBLE FIX: In internet explorer go to Tools>Internet Options>Security tab>Click Trusted Sites>Click the "sites" button and add Newgrounds.com to the list. Make sure require server verification in unchecked and make sure the enable protected mode button is uncheck as well in the trusted sites section. I have no way to verify this but it seems viable. Let me know if it works.

If that doesn't work try playing the game in Popup mode.

FIRST: THANKS to Tom Fulp for setting up the Power of Three event last summer.
SECOND: If you get stuck watch the video walkthroughs accessable through the in game menu.
THIRD: In the boss fight, watch for the blue target... and prehaps use your blue ability where it is pointing...
FOURTH:If the game runs slow for you right click and lower the quality settings until the game runs at normal speed.

Primary has been a long project for FrozenFire and me, we started this back in July... TONS of work have gone into this game and we hope you like it as much as we do.

Primary is about Roy, a super soldier in the land of the HUEman (get it? Ya we are lame.), who must climb to the top of Prizim tower to try to find a way to close the portal that is allowing horrible black goopy creatures into his world.

NOTE: You can play with an x-box controller with an emulator like Xpadder, I am told this also fixes the "Sticky Keys" bug. The elevator menu is able to be controlled with the keyboard as soon as the game has saved so you don't have to use the mouse if you don't want to.

If you are interested in learning more about the process of making Primary you can read my post mortum of sorts here:

well...

i really enjoyed it, until i closed the window. i figured i could just pick up where i left off but no matter how many times i click the "load game" button, it doesnt do anything so i have to start over every time.

other than that it was an awesome game but maybe you should try fixing that

Good but buggy

When I was fighting the first boss, the game wouldn't let me use the Ice attack when blue or the fire attack when red.

But its a good game.

Not the best, but pretty damn good all the same.

I'm not gonna lie to you, I got extremely frustrated playing this game, though that may speak more to my level of insomnia than anything else.

Nonetheless, I felt like the game took a certain perverse pleasure in seeing me die. At least I didn't try to cuss it out like I did the wind the other day.

Enough of my anger management issues, on to my compliments!

I only played the first ten levels, so I can't say the entire game was this way, but it seemed like you took a simple concept and ran with it, changing what could have been a really easy platformer into an entertaining series of minute, minute and a half puzzles that had me thinking of an early version of N, or possibly Prince of Persia. (Minus the existential angst, of course. "Who am I? Why am I going to kill the Vizier? Is it because I'm evil?" No, he killed your father and tried to enslave the world, you idiot! Did you forget that part? That's just the sand talking, ignore it! God, took him long enough in that last game, too. *rolls eyes*)

Anyway, this was an entertaining diversion, and made all the more impressive knowing what little of Flash I do. The animations are damn smooth and the character is easy to recognize. My only real gripe is the starkness of the background, but it makes sense with what little backstory you provided.

I hope you guys continue to work on stuff like this, I've seen too much of a degradation in the quality of Flash games lately. Often seems like only the puzzle and strategy games really manage to waste any of my time anymore...

Great concept but...

...there are some major bugs in this promising game. During level 7, 3/4 of the game screen turned grey, and this was in Google Chrome. If this can be fixed, alongside the dubious wall jumping controls, you have a potential platforming classic!
