The highly anticipated sequel to Hay Wars puts our heroes in a battle of wits and strength over the coveted Hay Field. Both Nick and Corey lead their groups of ragtag soldiers for the most important fight in this never-ending war. Filmed over a year ago, the footage laid dormant until about mid October of 2009, when Nick decided to dig it out once more to finally animate and complete the movie. After 100+ hours of animation, plus additional time for editing and other things of that nature, FroNickProductions is proud to present "Snow Wars."

You might want to search my other flashes and watch Hay Wars, but it isn't necessary to follow the story.

It is a mixture of flash and video, but like mentioned above there was over 100 hours worth of animation not including the menu, scene selection, and character bios.

The movie is around 8 minutes long, so if you want to go back and watch something make sure to use the scene select!

Please enjoy, vote, and review.

Worked like a Movie!

I gotta say that the whole thing played like a movie but there was some flaws but not in the flash and video but the quality but that wasn't really your fault and it was pretty good watching it in a distance and using the lower lights button to give you a feel of a movie plus the screen and music in the main menu screen sounded like a movie like how it was all set up. Shane Dawson would never be able to do this.

The acting was very good and I didn't see any flaws or cracks in the voices at all or any mishaps and the animation made a really cool effect but I think you should upload this somewhere or make a DVD out of it so it will give you a feel of what it would be like have a movie you made..

I was deeply saddened by the score just because a couple people don't like "videos" in the flash portal even though you put a lot of flash in it. I think you should e-mail the video without flash or a menu screen and see how THEY would react compared to this finished video. I am sorry I had to write this paragraph because it doesn't seem fair that it got a bad score very unfairly.

It was a good call to put captioning in it because sometimes I couldn't hear what the people were saying ad that really saved me from giving you a 9 on this but try to be a little louder because of the bad quality for the file storage here.

The animation was really good and I was glad to see that the beams weren't just lines in different color but you actually detailed them instead of keeping it noob. Plus the Star wars joke you put near the end and the effect looked really cool and realistic and it was good work.

I thought the whole video was hilarious and the best jokes were when the blind guy got lost and the guy that wasn't dead came back plus his line he said cracked me up. I wont tell the spoiler ones though unless I already did but your sense of humor is strong and you had a nice little place to show it to the NG community or at least 415 right now as I am reviewing this still.

I know that you put a lot of effort into it because you had to spend 4 days just putting flash in! Plus I am sure there were problems recording and acting and a lots of cut-scenes but you actually did it!.

After all of the wait I gotta say that this is the best VIDEO on NG I have seen so far and you guys should keep it up! Overall This is great and the only thing I can say to improve on is the voice to be louder because of sound quality! Good job.

I know you are gonna submit this to RRC so

Good!

Ah I'm glad you finally made it, and those hours of work resulted in a good quality and funny movie. I liked the plot and the comic parts of it, the script was solid.

Really cool layout as well. I totally enjoy those subtitles, it makes my life easier since the sound quality wasn't that great - as well as the image quality but I'll do with it :P So yeah, the subtitles, the great menu with the scenes selection and the characters bios make it very pleasant to watch, kudos to you and ReNaNae.

I wish there was so much snow here in france... lucky guys :P. Awesome again you get a five.

Great work!

This was just too hilarious to not review it!!

Animation: Added in lasers? Oh no! At least they don't really put holes in people, heheheheh. Awesome.

Audio: Very fitting.

Storyline: A war starts in the middle of a snowy region. Both sides fight, a spy is defeated and the blind guy gets a stick. Good laugh.

Overall: This is a great piece of work, nice job.

Funny movie

I'll admit that I'm the first person to say that movies belong on other websites, but I think this one can be an exception. You take advantage of Flash to handle the menu and scene select, which makes this site perfect for its presentation.

The movie itself was quite good. Obviously the quality was reduced to get the size down to 13MB, but I think you chose a decent balance of filesize and quality. Any larger would have made the Flash just a bit too large for Newgrounds, and any smaller would have sacrificed too much quality.

As far as the actual film itself, I thought it was quite funny. The graphical effects were excellent and almost seemed natural. The sound effects were excellent quality. The dialogue was hilarious. You struck just the right blend of humor and seriousness, similar to the "Lethal Weapon" and "Die Hard" series films.

Overall, I enjoyed the film from beginning to end. Even the credits were funny enough to make me watch it through. I think I'll have to check out the other movies you have on NG.

Thanks for the submission!
