Good job
Why would you think this would get blammed? It's too good :D It's a little short, but the art is very nice and original
Please don't blam this, guys. Rate it fairly. I only put it up cos my sister Sabtastic told me to.
Splash screens appear on the screens when nothing is happening, like when people are coming in and sitting down. I was commissioned in a way by my teacher to animate these for her. Last year's theme was fantasy and this year's is Cirque Du Soliel. I'm also working on a papier mache peacock for this year, and some ten feet tall saran wrap acrobats. They're props.
It's cool because I got to see them both in action; last year when my bf graduated and this year when it's my turn. :)
Good job

Daaww thank yooouuu. :D It's supposed to be short, each is a quick little loop to put up on two giant screens at the Grad ceremony.
Very nice
It's the little details I was impressed with. Example: Most people would have just mirrored the two Cirque Du Soliel performers and called it a day - you took the time to adjust the animation so they were off by just a tick (as one would expect to see with live actions done by human performers) - the hands and body position of the jester on the left are slightly lower than the one on the right, though both are performing the same motions.
The effects used to remove the text were equally thoughtful - it's not the usual disappearing act where the characters just fade into transparency - instead, you animated that as well.
I liked the background designs for these too, both were appropriate and fun for the themes at hand.
If I REALLY had to nit-pick, it'd be the visible overlapping present of body parts when you fade the Cirque Du Soliel performers - a viewer probably wouldn't notice this first pass... but as these are splash screens, its a loop, and eventually peoples eyes will be moving around and noticing what's going on at the corners as well as the center point of attention.
Like I said - really nit-picky, but figured I'd mention it anyway.
You definitely have a talent, and I look forward to seeing more of your work here!
Don't be skittish about posting - please. These were great.
Movie movie movie! ;)
Thank you so much! :) The background for 2009 was completely original, but not mine. I wasn't told who created it. The 2010 is an official Cirque Du Soliel background straight from their website. The colours went perfectly with it.
And I will definitely be submitting a flash soon!
Although short
No reason to blam it.
It's very well done, colorful and fun to watch. I watched it twice before I saw it was looping :p
Make a bigger flash now :)
RB
I will definitely make a bigger flash! I'm halfway done a 3-4 minute movie. :)
fine....
but i'm not voting for 5 or 2, reasons:
no background music or anything
it keeps going and going over and over again.
that's fair enough
It's supposed to loop. There isn't supposed to be music. It's a splash screen.
well, ok
ok, wont blam this, after all i am a fan of your sister sabtastic
