Developed as part of the 2010 Global Game Jam, a "develop a game in 48 hours" challenge. Game was polished over the next week, and several features (including mochi leaderboards) were added.

For those having trouble
If your having trouble avoiding the bull, what you have to do is taunt it first (shift key) afterward the bull will charge a short distance in a straight line. At that point you have to move quickly out of the way.
As for the game, clever idea. I enjoyed the retro style graphics, however the game was too repetitive for my taste. Not allowing that to offer a bias to my review I have to say good job overall.

Thanks for the review. I made a few changes to scale up the tension and try to keep the repetition down somewhat. Let me know what you think about the changes :).
I can hold down the right arrow key and avoid all the obstacles yet the bull still catches up. Is there a trick that wasn't explained?
Press shift and dodge the bull when he gets close. I added a "how not to die" section to the main menu.
