Not bad...Just got stuck, is all.

I've played F.C. 1 before, and I really enjoyed it. I had a bit of trouble with this game, though. I tried to do the level, "Hospital grounds" according to the walkthrough...and kept getting stuck with the policemen shooting me. For one thing, the walkthrough clearly states the left barrel and the "left" policeman, but it won't let me click the policeman on the left after I quickly click the barrels. Is this just a glitch, or...was there a misprint in the walkthrough?

*click* not this,*click* or this...or that,nope

The animation is okay and the story not too bad, but the point and click is terrible,it seems incoherant and random rather than making sense, for example the bit where you have to click on the 3 guys in a certain order, how is that a puzzle it's just annoying and doesn't add up

The first one was good, this one wasn't. Quite honestly it could have been made by a 5 year old....

Could have been better...

if the clicking actually was more intuitive. There were times when your clicks would trigger one character's actions, then the next, another character's. I think it would have been better if you were in control of the Foreign Creature only, or one of the investigators. Instead, we're left clicking random places and items just searching for something to react to a click. Nice animation and storyline, but not the most fun I've had on a point-and-click.

I'll explain why I'm rating it like so...

For one, the art is very, VERY well done. The game is hard to figure out unless you use the walkthrough which, happily, is easily provided. Furthermore, it's quite a puzzler. But as for the plot, all I can say is I do sincerely hope that stupid Foreign Creature hurries up and heads home because I don't honestly think Earth can stand much more of his sadism. I mean, yes, I know he's trying to go back to his home planet to apparently save it, but if that race's leader's first idea on "how to save a planet" is to 'damn another", he probably DESERVES to get killed in a hail of gunfire from an invading army.

You know what would make a good ending to the next Foreign Creature? The creature returns home only to find his world has been destroyed. That's called "poetic justice". After ruining our world and leaving it forever, he goes back to find that his entire race is destroyed and he's stuck there, last of his kind. It would be fitting.
