Take your heroic minor and help him develop into the kingdom's most glorious hero.. Get a job, go to school, rebuild the village and raid dungeons for their untold riches.. Will you ultimately be a hero, or simply a zero?

teir two!

i got remarkable famous! second time playing it though dungeons are kinda fustrating when your just collecting items and the item is one space away but you go over stress balls. mechanics are good though just the stress part everyone complains about but i guess you cant change that.

Now, I've played through it. It is pretty enjoyable when you understand what is going on. I've noticed a lot of people complaining about "stress" in the game. You counter stress by raising constitution levels. You can do this by working jobs that use whatever stat you are trying to raise as the base of it. IE, Dexterity for sweeping (hand-eye coordination, requires you to be quick to get more work done?) Constitution for Labourer and Smith (for extended work periods), etc. Raising constitution levels will increase the amount of stress reduced when resting. ALSO, it is notable to improve your resting facilities. IE, build the town garden, and improve it to make it more relaxing. There are a lot of bonuses available if you do certian tasks of a week repeatedly, its a matter of finding out what does what you are going for.

Combat, i see people complaining about the hit/miss ratio. You need to study either combat training or magic training for what you want to be good at. Sure, you can have amazing weapons, but without the knowledge of how to use them they still wont do anything. Equipment is also important to know how it works. There are the five elements at the bottom. Some enemies are resistant to types of damage, and others aren't. If youre noticing youre having trouble doing damage to an enemy, try switching to a different type of weapon. I was using a 30-damage 80% ice weapon and only hitting 7s on a breed of skeleton, but when I switched to a 26-damage 100% physical weapon, suddenly i was hitting 22s. It's a matter of trying out things and seeing what works.

The other abilities require you to have met conditions of having X combat training, Y tactics, and Z of stat. This is important to know as developing your character early on to unlock these stats may not always be the best choice : sometimes if you unlock higher tier buildings you can get them faster. IE, building your barracks and library to get strategic ideas training would probably be better later - you can rely on the regular attack early on and work to getting the fancy skills later.

The game is really about diving into the math and mechanics and trying out things to find what works. Overall, you just got to play with it to get a feel.

PROTIP though , get your constitution up and get a garden built early on. This will help reduce the amount of time spent resting which means more ass-kicking for you. Do this by doing laborer and then eventually smith work for the constitution bonuses, and doing adventurers and studies on the side. eventually, you can move onto having a maxed garden, and getting almost a whopping *60* stress relieved per week!

overall, its a fun game though, you just got to use your noggin and do some math, and figure out what works. If you got stressed and quit playing, try it again! See how you can improve what you did! Good luck, have fun.
