really fun... but stressful...

i like this game, but theres a couple points that could've been improved...

first and foremost... the timer... 365 weeks is technically 2555 days... but thats not a long time in this game... it'd be nice to have an endless amount of time to train and build up the village...

im almost at the end of my time, and im just SLIGHTLY stronger than i was at the beginning of the game...

i keep getting killed when i go out to adventure spots cause i get into 5-6 battles in a row with things too tough for me, i barely scrape past most of them...

if its an orc, im dead... if its a train rogue or skeleton warriors, im likely dead, unless i get very lucky and have healing potions...

the shop really doesnt have anything useful... exploring a couple dungeons i got stuff 5x better than anything i could buy...

the ONLY place i can find materials for building is to explore dungeons, but there are only a limited amount and they dont reset at any point, so eventually, im screwed and i cant build anything...

no matter how much i work and train, i cant seem to learn ANY skills... almost at the end of the game and i dont have a SINGLE skill... how do you learn them?!

i do like the game, but i feel like i dont have any way to learn skills, and the time limit is really taking alot of fun out of the game for me... so i probably wont be back unless a "free mode" is added in, letting you train for as long as you want and explore all you want, etc...

for anyone who reads this review, if you dont like my opinions, dont go marking this "useless", because every point i made is valid... if ya dont like what i said, just move along...

besides, im not putting the game down, just pointing out things that take alot of fun out of it...

Good idea. Badly done.

Well, it was good looking... But it was a let down. The animation is nice, and the story from the start is pretty good too. However, the length of the battles and the time needed to do anything takes forever. If this were a normal RPG, that would be fine. But this is a flash game, as in people don't have hours to exactly spend on it...

It would be nicer if the HP gauge of the monsters were lowered, as was the main characters... So everything stays about the same, things die faster, and everything gets done faster as well.

Why exactly...?

So... I have to learn an adventure system from scratch, guess my way through dungeons and chance encounters, and hope I don't get "stressed out" before the week arbitrarily blanks out. Oh did I mention that ANYTHING I do takes a week? Leave a dungeon-end the week. Get defeated in a dungeon-end a week. Then I've got to unstress... how long does that take? You guessed it, a week. No offense, but that's the silliest time system I've ever seen. Yeah, I get it that the hero is growing up, but have you never heard of the weekend? Work a week, take two off. Go to school for a week, take two off. I'm just saying. OK, sorry to rant like that. I can see a lot of effort was put into the visual details of the game but not so much into the gameplay mechanics of it. The options are insane, but realistically : why should new areas open simply because the hero reaches a certain age, or find a sword while sitting still and "resting". In inventory why can't I see the effects of installing an item without actually doing it? lots of tiny little annoying things are keeping this from being a great game. As it is, it's got zero replay value.
