A Wonderful Observation of our Universe

I have got to say, I have never realized the scale of the world, no, the universe, until I saw this.

I believe that the most wonderful thing about this flash is in the profound effect it has despite its simplicity. A simple bar that scrolls left to right was enough to explain the scale of the universe to the tiniest of the tiniest to the most unfathomable expanse.

While this flash does make me feel a bit insignificant, as it lays out how small we actually are compared to everything else, it also uplifts me in a way. It shows that we've come very far in understanding the universe we live in. After seeing this flash, now I'm wondering what kind of things we may find out next.

Ten out of Ten, Five out of Five. It's a wonderful flash, simply wonderful.

So simple...

...yet complex.

Not much more I can say about this, great job. By skill or by luck, you hit the right spot.

not bad

fantastically done...was looking for one using real images (or approximated renderings for class while teaching and used this, great stuff!)

also, i always came to think EInstein's strings were particles of energy, and that the strings themselves make up everything even the space ina vacuum. it is just different frequencies or patterns make different states of matter/particles etc.

which, itself, could be the missing link from big bang to religious philosophy.

big ball of energy outside of space and time, boom (it thinks) and splits apart creating space and time, constantly expanding outward (multi dimensionally)

...sorry...

love the animation!
