Since the log scale is continuous, it allows to visualize the relation between sizes. And it does a good job as it goes from smallest to biggest adding useful info along the way.
Notable pros:
resolution scales
Lower Bar Puts orders of magnitude for scale, very nice.
-zoom lock to be able to look around.
-animations as option (galaxys move, bacteria move)
