LAG: If you're having lag problems, lower the quality in the options, reduce the animation level and disable the concert lights. You can also download the game and that should help a lot.

Make sure you check out the Tips in-game and on the Official Website to help you make some awesome songs.

Pure epicness!

I totally love the game. It's rather easy to create something that sounds good, but you still got a lot of different riffs and stuff, the actual playing your songs part is challenging, but fun, graphics are nice and the little "cutscenes" are quite funny.
So far one of the most complex and awesome flash games I've played.

And 'cause everyone does it, a little song by me:

Not as good as exspected...

When I saw Punk-O-Matic 2, I was very happy. But now I'm very disappointed, because this game sucks ass. Really. I don't talk about the style and etc. I just hate the Gameplay. It's too hard in my opinion! Why the fuck do we need Q,W,E,A,S and D? Four of them suffice and you have a chance to hit even one note. This game doesn't make fun.

The part where you can create a song by yourself is good, but the rest is shitty. That's all I can say.

Sir, I salute you.

Oi, what you're about to read (if you entirely read it) is my analyzed review for this game.

First of, it's a great improvement in comparison to the 1st one. You spent a shit load of time to make it, and I pity you for that, instead of you pitying us for the loading time, which isn't that long actually. Now let me mention few things.

Storyline: When I first played the game and that guy Sid was like "meet me in the city", I thought "WTF, is this going to include any free-roaming around the places with guys assigning me with all sorts of music quests? Nah, I knew my imagination was over the sky and beyond the expectations, and no sooner I landed back on the (new)ground(s). Yeah, it had a drag-'n'-click-on-the-icon style, with the story being basically based on a slideshow of animated characters, mostly interactiveless with some great voice acting and a lot of homour indeed.

Composing: In the prequel (on which I hadn't spent the appropriate time), all you had to do is click on boxes until you get the desired number, without the need to have some composing or synchronization skills. Then you just enjoyed the result, which could never have a sucking sync.
Here things are different. There are loads of lists with a great variety of the short instrument tracks which you may use. Plus, the composing difficulty is hardened. For example, most times when you use a fret on the guitar, it has to be the same fret as the bass, or the song might be ruined.

Performing and Difficulty: People here on NG are always whining about the in-concert difficulty which can get frustrating and intricate, especially when you try to play on Insane mode using Drums, that's the moment that you're searching for your baseball bat (or the "cancel show" button) to put an end in this misery. This could probably be because of the plainly designed circle-shaped input points area. I'm not saying you didn't work well on it - besides, without it, the whole game would be less enjoyable-, I just would rather play on something more similar to Guitar Hero, and that's because all the notes are popping from the centre of the circle, reducing your time to maatch them with the appropriate key on your keyboard. I believe that if we had the time to see where the note is about to strike, the game would be kind of easier.
BTW, I haven't figured out the difference between the yellow notes and the transparent ones yet. Hoping someone could tell me.
BTW No2, is Insane mode supposed to be played with 2 hands? (esp. on drums) It's god damn hard to play with one, while complicated to play with 2!

All that's left to say is that this game should be considered as a piece of art, made by the master of punk music himself. Moreover, I have to mention that I don't really like punk music, but this game's tracks do also have a rock and metal style, which simply makes me want to drop a headbanging or two!

P.S.: My review score might be 9/10, but you'll be sure to get a 5/5 every time I vote on your submission ;)

Enjoy it's new features people and have fun!

Forget my NG screen name, it's too old.
